Armenian Currency

The final product of this project will represent Armenia in the form of currency and can be seen everyday when in use. The currency will increase Armenian citizens’ morale and love for their country and culture (hayasirootion) and advance the ideology and motivation of working towards a free, independent, and united Armenia.


Cultural references include various monuments that are important in Armenian history. Maps of old Armenia that tie into the monuments and figures were also referenced. The province of Ararat and it’s mountain view and common animal are also displayed on the bill. The eternity symbol is also a highly used reference in Armenian culture and made an appearance on the currency.
